Voting for Bigg Boss 2 shall commence from 18th August, 2008 at 22:00:00 hours and shall conclude on 22nd November, 2008 at 12:00:00 hours or such other date as would be advertised and communicated ("Period").

For the last week of voting, voting lines will be open from Tuesday (18th November 2008) 10 pm to Saturday (22nd November 2008) 12 noon.

The user(s) who is interested in participating in the voting can participate through either of the following modes:

4. The user(s) who is willing to participate in the voting through SMS should send an sms of the first three alphabets of the name of the participant as a keyword to 56882. Details of the 3-letter keywords are given in the table below.

Eg. If a user wants to vote for Sanjay, he must sms SAN to 56882. Only the above 3-letter names will be considered as valid votes.

Only subscribers of Airtel, BPL, Idea, Reliance, Spice, Tata, Vodafone will be entitled to participate in the voting through SMS. Costs per SMS will be upto a maximum of Rs. 3 per SMS. Users can confirm details of the SMS costs with their respective operators.

The user(s) who is willing to participate in the voting through Televoting should dial 1862 888 6882 and suffix it with the contestant number option as given in the table above. Eg. if a user wants to vote for Sanjay, he must dial 1862 888 6882 05
7.
Only subscribers of BSNL and MTNL will be entitled to participate in the voting through Televoting. Costs per call will be upto a maximum of Rs. 2.40 per call. Users can confirm details of the Televoting call costs with their respective operators
8.
The cost of the SMS / Televoting shall be solely borne by the user(s). The cost of each SMS / Televoting shall be charged by the respective mobile operators.

Viacom18 reserves the right to add/delete/modify the modes of voting participation and also the operators/partners who support these platforms

Counting of votes shall be subject to capping. Capping means a maximum of 100 valid votes per voter per contestant per platform per week, will be considered in the final vote count

Viacom18 shall not be responsible in case of any network problems such as breakdown of machinery, unclear network, disruption in the network and/or the cost of the SMS/ Televoting charged by the network operator. Any dispute in connection to the same shall be settled between the contestant(s) and the network operator without involving Viacom18.
12.
In case of telecom and/or network failure, Viacom18 reserves the right to change or cancell the voting mechanism/system or take such necessary steps as it may deem fit.
13.
By participating in the voting, it shall be construed that the user has waived his/her right to raise any dispute with regard to the voting and/or in any manner whatsoever in connection to Bigg Boss programme.
14.
The user(s) should be citizens of India and residing in India and must be competent under law to qualify for the voting.
15.
The user(s) in whose name the mobile number (from which the message is sent) is registered with a network operator shall be construed to have sent the voting.
16.
Viacom 18 reserves all rights to make amendments to the existing rules without prior notice or withdraw the voting without giving prior notice in connection thereto.
17.
By participating in the Voting, it shall be construed that the user(s) has agreed that the user(s) shall hold harmless Viacom18, its employees, officers or any other person from claims in relation to any injury/ damage/ harm/ loss suffered by the user(s), in any manner, whatsoever in connection with the voting and that the user(s) has waived all rights to file in person or through any family member or third party any applications, criminal and/or civil proceedings in any courts or forum in India against Viacom18 to claim any damages or specific reliefs.

Viacom18 is in no manner responsible and/or shall not be held liable in any manner whatsoever, for any injury, death, mental trauma caused to the user(s) in any manner whatsoever or for any reason whatsoever arising from any issues relating to the Voting.
19.
Participation of the user(s) in the voting shall be construed as his/her agreement and consent to any decision(s) made by Viacom18 in connection to the voting and that the user(s) agrees to abide by all the decision(s) made by Viacom18. All the decision shall be final and binding upon him/ her.
20.
The participation of the user(s) in the Voting shall mean that the user(s) has read, understood, accepted and agreed to abide with all the rules of the Voting.
21.
The user(s) shall be governed by and comply with the laws of India.
22.
The terms of this rules and regulations shall be construed in accordance with the laws of India and incase of any dispute or other matter arising in reference to the voting shall be referred to a sole arbitrator appointed by Viacom18 and shall be governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, amended from time to time. The venue for arbitration shall be Mumbai, in English language. All the costs, charges and expenses in connection to the Arbitration shall be solely borne by the user(s) who has raised the dispute.
23.
The courts in Mumbai shall have the sole and exclusive jurisdiction to decide on any dispute relating to the Voting.
24.
Viacom 18 shall not be liable for any technical faults on part of the telecom operator while voting eg. Call dropping or incomplete calls.
25.
Viacom 18 shall not be responsible for any loss of data during transfer from the telecom operator to the service provider.
